Australia and New Zealand government declared that some electrical products do compulsory approval. Products listed in NSW Gazette must comply with AS/NZS standard and obtain certificate from pointed certification body then can sell in Australia and New Zealand.

There have declared article and non-declared article according to the law. For declared article sell in Australia must been tested and apply certificate, and stick the RCM logo with certificate number in the product label. No certificate number or compliance logo it is illegal sell in Australia New Zealand.

Non-declared article no need to have certificate before sell in Australia, New Zealand, but it must make sure the product is safe enough, so it need have safety test report from an Australia recognized test laboratory, otherwise sell a non-declared article is illegal also.

Besides Safety Mark, also need consider Electro-Magnetic Compatibility (EMC) part, in Australia named C-Tick.

From March 1,2013 it become RCM Mark, RCM Mark including safety part and C-Tick.

SAA/RCM is the gold key for your product enter into Australia New Zealand market.

1.    New Australia Certificate of Approval or Certificate of Suitability

2.    Certificate Modification application(technical and non-technical modification)

3.    Certificate Renewal (Extension) application

4.    Certificate Co-license application.
