GS/CBCertification
The CB Scheme is an international program created by the International Electrotechnical Commission for Electrical Equipment (IECEE) for the acceptance of product safety test results among participating laboratories and certification organizations around the world. The CB Scheme offers manufacturers a simplified way of obtaining multiple national safety certifications for their products — providing entry into over 50 countries.
We can issue your CB Test Report and corresponding CB Certificate to help you obtain multiple national safety certifications for your product.
To obtain a national certification without additional testing, we’ll help you submit your CB Certificate and Test Report to an NCB (National Certification Bodies) in a participating CB Scheme country.

GS is the abbreviation of German “geprüfte Sicherheit” (CertifiedSafety) with another meaning of “Germany Safety”, for the safety mark of Germanentire machines, which is mainly applied to products in direct contact with people. GS certification is established based on German Product Safety Act(SGS), for a kind of voluntary certification which conducts the inspection based on the EU uniform standard EN or the German industrial standard DIN andthe German safety certification mark generally recognized by the European market
GS mark indicates that the operation safety of product has passed the test of independent body with the credibility, and the product meet Europesafety standard and unique German national standards. GS mark is not legally required, but it does strictly constraint manufacturers by Germany (Europe)Product Safety Act when the product fails or causes accidents, so GS mark is apowerful market instrument which can enhance customers’ confidence and desireto buy. GS is the German standard, but it is agreed by most countries in Europe. If satisfying GS certification requirements, products will meet there quirements of the EU CE mark. Different from CE, GS mark is not legally required, but general consumers have the higher and higher security awareness,so electrical products with GS mark may be more competitive than common products in the market. Many products, including power tools, information technology equipment and home appliances, are difficult to be sold in Germanyor the surrounding areas without GS mark.
GS standard basis
GS certification is established based on German Product Safety Act(SGS), for a kind of voluntary certification which conducts the inspectionbased on the EU uniform standard EN or the German industrial standard DIN and the German safety certification mark generally recognized by the European market For GS test, different electrical products are tested based on corresponding safety standards, most of which are similar to CE / LVD, but some products also shall be tested based on German safety requirements which aremore stringent.
Product Approval Center do GS Approval has big advantage on GS test andtime frame. GS have strict requirement of quality control system, need conductfactory inspection. Factory should have quality control regulation, quality recording documents etc. should have enough manufacture and test ability. Before issue GS Certificate, factory inspectionneed passed. After certificate issued, every year has at least one time follow up inspection. Product Approval Center engineer know the factory inspection requirement, can guide manufacturer pass factory inspection in 1 time.
